Exhibition LIVING ON ROCK is an epic sung with colors and strokes about a land where people who were born on rock, live their life and grow their children on rock. It’s a collection of 50 paintings by artist Do Duc.
“My “Living On Rock” collection is dedicated to Ha Giang, the country’s border stretches from North West to North East Vietnam. It was a splendid vast region, with hugely diverse and enthralling cultures where people dot with rock, mingled in rock, blended in it and lived on it. The painting collection was about the land and its people, the loneliness and braveness. “ October 2012, DO DUC

His wish has come true in September, 2013. A two day exhibition “Living on the Rock” at Dong Van (Ha Giang) as part of a program between The Thao Van Hoa newspaper and Dong Van Council. 2 of his paintings were auctioned to raise fund for poor families in Ha Giang. The fund beautifully covered the cost to rebuild new houses for 2 poorest families.
